Chandra (Moon): Chandra represents mind in cosmic physiology and is Queen in Planetary cabinet. Individual’s mental evolution, emotions, feelings and sensitivity depend on the strength of Chandra. In sociological relationship Chandra is mother. Since Chandra has waxing and waning character she signifies a changing mood. In human physiology she represents blood, breast, saliva, womb, water lymphatic and glandular system. Chandra rules over North-West, nature is Satvik, color is white, and sex is female. One can improve his power of Chandra by wearing Pearl. Chandra's taste is salt and element is Water.
Mangal (Mars): Mangal is the commander-in-chief in planetary cabinet. He denotes physical force vital energy, passion, valor, aggressiveness and qualities of leadership. In sociological relationship he represents younger brothers and sisters. In human physiology he represents marrow, bile, ears, nose, forehead, fiber and muscular tissues. His nature is Tamas (ignorant nature, dark) and sex is male. His direction is south and gemstone is Coral. Elementally he represents fire.
Budh (Mercury): Budh is the crown prince in the planetary cabinet. It represents high speed, mathematical proportion and intellectuality. Budh is fond of fun, pleasant speech, well versed and highly informative. In sociological relationship Budh represents friends and maternal side. Shukra (Venus): Shukra is also a minister in the planetary cabinet. He represents love, luxury, aesthetic sense, cleanliness and all the beautiful things. Shani (Saturn): Shani holds the position of a servant in the planetary cabinet. He represents lower class people and relationship with them. Rahu and Ketu: Rahu and Ketu also hold the position of servant in planetary cabinet. They don't have physical existence. They are just the ascending and descending nodes of moon. Their shadow falls on earth and creates strong influence. Rahu mostly imbibes the qualities of Shani and Ketu that of Mangal. They denote destructive forces such as dissolution and disintegration. Rahu has more of these qualities. He is also considered to be a deceptive planet. Ketu, while great malefic, is also called as Moksha-Karaka and Gyan-karaka. Sometimes they cause such diseases which are difficult to diagnose. Their motion isalways retrograde. Rahu is female and Ketu is eunuch. His quality is Tamas. Gem stone of Rahu is Gomed (Garnet) and Ketu's is Vaidhurya (Cat’s eye).
